Start / Finish
Rest easy Uncle Eric. You were always so easy to talk to, and real.
You did everything to support your son and I always respected that.
I will always remember.
Much love Marvin. I can vividly remember sessions together. I will never be able to surf your spot without thinking of you. You were always so supportive to many. You left to soon, I hope you can rest easy now on the other side.
Have not ridden these fins in beyond forever. Ended up a pretty decent sesh on it.
Kaipo Guerrero 6’3 while traveling in El Salvador.
VS1
MR5 : quick attack for small short length waves or tight small beach breaks.
Session out here. Haven’t surfed it since pre-pandemic.
New blank formula. US / CT blank. Lighter, stronger, whiter
Getting some boards cut.
MR3
Brother vs brother. Loser is cut off the tour.
KA fins. Old look, but there actually brand new. Had a extra pair from a while back.
The acceleration on take off was refreshing after being on merricks so much.
Kelly last official heat? Wildcard for Fiji ?
5’8 x 18.75 x 2.32 x 25.89 VS2
Board felt pretty good, back fin lacked a bit of drive, in the out of season weaker swell.
Board worked pretty well. Feels real good under the arm and paddling. Was very excited to try it. A tried and true rocker I have not used in a long time.
Was very interested to feel the front half of the rocker.
Did adjust the concaves a little from times past.
Should have not let this one go.
Maybe 1 or 2 more remake adjustments on this model and gonna keep it. As it was just what I was looking for.
Do have another one being glassed that in unintentionally pretty close to this one, which might make things interesting.
Waves were very bad on this session. Which is probably holding back a rave review. But all things considering board felt really good despite all that.
