It all started when…

I worked as a polisher and hot coater at a couple surfboard factories including our family owned factory.

In regards to shaping a surfboard, I was shown how to do one board, and from board number two I was on my own. Trial by fire, blood sweat and tears.

Though that I was able to learn the many different aspects of surfboard design not only what you want in a surfboard but just as important what you don’t want in regards to design.

Over time I have been fortunate enough to work with some of the best surfers and surfboard factories from Hawaii, Japan and Europe, which helped elevate the shaping, design, and surfer/ shaper communication skills to take the boards to a high performance level for each individual surfer.

Through this, the boards have tested all around the globe in a variety of conditions, wether it is surfing competitions like the WQS or surf trips.
