For production reasons out of my control, had to shape these in clutch record time. A very specific and limited amount of minutes. As it can’t miss making it on the airplane.
As a shaper sometimes your pressured because maybe it’s a high profile rider yet you need to keep your shaping rhythm normal and not do anything out of the norm while shaping. Making sure not to over shape chasing details.
When it’s a limited time issue, as a shaper you need to watch the pressure and strength of your hands, making sure your not cutting deeper into the foam then normal, since the energy is high. Much like surfing, when you try to hard and start to over cook your turns. Instead while shaping you need to make sure everything is efficient and every pass counts. Just like surfing for a short time, making every wave count.
