Always used one of my hand tools a non-traditional way that I learned from another well known shaper. It worked really well consistently but new I could change the method that I did, to improve results even further.
In shaping in some ways it doesn't matter how you do it, but more the end result.
Today for the first time since almost starting shaping I implemented into production a more traditional way of using a hand tool. I think I have finally developed the eye and ability to insure the results with this method. It's been a long road to get to this point.
